Tune in to your innate harmony
Welcome to my sound healing practice.
Sound healing is a gentle modality that uses vibration and frequencies to restore and rebalance your energy.
Reconnect with yourself through sound.
Book a one-on-one sound session or attend an upcoming sound bath.
Special instruments such as crystal singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, and more will guide you to a place of deep relaxation, allowing your nervous system to calm down and rest. From this meditative state, sound and vibration will nourish different dimensions of your wellbeing – mental, physical, and spiritual.
Sound healing is especially powerful when paired with an intention for self care, whether that's lowering stress and releasing tension, opening creative channels, or grounding yourself during moments of change and transition.
Custom Sound Sessions
In your one-on-one session, we'll identify any priorities you'd like to focus on (de-stressing, better sleep, calling in, letting go, etc.). You'll be invited to set an intention for the session with a simple candle-lighting ritual. Then you can lay back and let sound wash over you as I use a variety of instruments to align tones and frequencies with your goals for the session.
Give yourself an energetic tune up with an hour of solace and relaxation.
Save more and go deeper with a bundle of three sessions that build on one another.
Custom Sound Baths
Sound baths make a beautiful addition to retreats, birthdays, house warmings, and other special gatherings. If you would like to include a bespoke sound bath at an upcoming event, contact me to discuss details and pricing.

Research has shown that sound and vibrations impact us on a cellular level, affecting our muscles, nerves, brain, and other organs. Sound can slow brain waves down while encouraging neural, physiological, and biochemical reactions that promote relaxation and healing. Research also shows that sound healing may be able to help:
Reduce stress and anxiety
Improve quality of sleep
Reduce pain caused by chronic conditions
Support cognition and memory
Enhance overall mental and spiritual well-being

While sound healing is a safe and gentle modality, there are special circumstances that need to be considered, particularly for one-on-one sessions when certain instruments (e.g., weighted tuning forks, singing bowls, etc.) might be used on or near the body. When you book your session, you'll be asked if any of the following apply:
Pregnancy (sound healing is not advised during the first 12 weeks)
Medical devices (e.g., heart pacemaker, stent, shunt, or other metal implants)
Inflamed joints, recent injuries, or potential bone fractures
Sound-induced epilepsy
If you wear hearing aids, we may need to adjust the settings or temporarily turn them off ( I can work with you on this, as a hearing aid user myself for single-sided deafness).
Lastly, because sound healing invites people to look inward, the experience might not resonate (pun intended) with those who don't enjoy self exploration.
About
Hi, I'm Tessa. Here's a little bit about my background and how I came to have a gong taking center stage in my living room.
I started playing the cello when I was around 10 years old. Standing at four feet, eleven inches, I thought I would grow into the instrument. I'm still the same height (and probably shrinking) so that never happened, but the cello did became a lifelong bedrock for belonging and connection with others. I pursued music in college, and while I transitioned to a professional career in the nonprofit sector, I continue to play and love how music can bring people together.
When I discovered a tuning fork workshop in Ojai, CA in the fall of 2023, I was intrigued by the idea of using familiar tones and intervals in a completely new way to support health and wellbeing. As I completed my Level 1 Diploma in Sound Healing with Tuning Forks, I got to experience my first real sound bath with gongs, singing bowls, chimes ... the full gamut. I was transported to a place within myself that I had never been before, and knew I had to integrate sound baths as part of my practice. Thus, the beautiful gong you see in the picture above found its way into my living room, along with a growing collection of other instruments, and it's been working its magic ever since.
I look forward to connecting with you so you can experience yourself in a new way through sound.
